Another day another level. One might think my progress is good. Looking at the guild progress however it is merely average (or a bit above). Here are the numbers:
Leveling progress - 19 jan 2006 @ 02:00 (Friday Morning)

1x lvl 66 (Mem)
6x lvl 65 (Demonlord, Devy, Frostmaster, Krojh, Mateus, Tfafalcon)
9x lvl 64
16x lvl 63
12x lvl 62
11x lvl 61
(all: 55)

There are 17 level 60 mains in the guild at present. 1 rerolled to paladin.
Class breakdown (of those that are level 61 or more)

7x druid
5x hunter
9x mage
7x priest
8x Rogue
6x Shaman
6x Warlock
7x Warrior

So let's just takelevel 62 to 66:
Druid 4
Hunter 4
Mage 8
Priest 5
Rogue 6
Shaman 6
Warlock 5
Warrior 6
Grand Total 44

But now the difference in levels is already 5 levels (well 3 in average) so these numbers are somewhat pointless. Perhaps just

I checked some charts today and noiced (some) of the factions that need to be build up for Mount Hyjal access.

Revered:
- Keepers Of Time
- Cenarion Expedition
- Thrallmar
- Lover City
- Sha'Tar

Friendly:
- Scale Of The Sands

There are probably more. At least Alder/Scryer for Illidan.

All in all, I am still (positively) surprised about the fast paced leveling that the guild as a whole is showing.

So my current level in World Of Warcraft - The Burning Crusade is now 63 and 44%. Leveling from 63 to 64 takes 650300 exp. This is also about the same amount as I predicted in my last post (40k increase of levelcost).

18 jan 2007 @ about midnight char hit lvl 62. Give or take 1 hour.
  • to advance from 62 to 63 one needs 614400 exp (~40k more)
  • to advance from 61 to 62 one needs 574700 exp (~80k more)
  • to advance from 60 to 61 one needs around 490000 (200k more then from 59->60)
If this trend is going to continue then the increases will either decrease or stay as they are. Let's hope so, leveling is mostly a grind & should be done by completing all quests. Leveling only through quests would seem pretty nice, like, "you need to complete 80% of the quests in the game to advance".

In numbers (speculation) this means that you would need 7M exp to advance from 60 to 70. This also means that the average cost for level would be 700k, last level cost would be 894k. Or so the math says. In the end, you'll have to get exactly as much exp (well a bit more) as the the number will be. But math can be used to envision things...

Leveling is (so far) not painful. Some of the quests are great fun (bombarding the legion's portals while airborne).

As for the guild, we're doing OK. Here's the rooster.

The stats say:
Leveling progress - 18 jan 2006 @ 00:50 (Thursday morning, CET)
1x lvl 64 (Mem)
4x lvl 63 (Krojh, Ljudbane, Mateus, Tfafalcon)
21x lvl 62
19x lvl 61

By classes:
6x warrior
5x druid
6x shammy
6x priest
8x mage
6x rogue
5x warlock
3x hunter

If we look at the rooster we can clearly see that the structure is not balanced. Each war in his own party. That creates 6 teams or 30 slots (minus 6 already taken by wars). So 3 (three) druids must also tank. This brings us to 9 teams with 36 free slots. There are 14 healers so some teams will have to do with 1 healer only, perfectly capable with the gear our guild has. The rest is DPS.

Let's presume each team only takes one healer for the moment and say we have 9 teams of tank and healer with 27 free slots... yo do the math

World Of Warcraft - The Burning Crusade (WOW TBC or just TBC) is available to general public since yesterday. With the new content one needs all the help one can get to get to where one wants to be in the desired time frame.

Here I will post my own notes, guides, photos, quest-notes (or links) related to leveling from 60 to 70 in TBC. There will also be a discussion about factions, gaining reputation with them and the rewards.

Yesterday I already hit level 61 with my Warlock (tire 2, 2.5 and 3 geared char).
